PLEASE JOIN US for; This is a Wednesday Evening Series for Women in or Near Empty Nest Transition All sessions are 7-9 pm Held at The Place for Words & Workshops**, 200 Great Rd., Suite 254A, Bedford, MA (Across from CVS) 9/9- Opening Session with Paula Solomon, M.S., life coach and therapist, who will talk about reinventing yourself now that the nest is empty(ing). Paula will make sense out of why this life transition feels so challenging, as you search for new meaning after child rearing! You will do an exciting "life pillars" exercise to help assess and clarify where you are, and begin the process of finding your next path in this new terrain. Come and open your mind to the possibilities ahead. "What a wonderful workshop last night. Through lecture, discussion, and case studies, Dr. Nemzoff will focus on the challenges and joys of the emerging adult years and help us translate the real meaning of their calls home from college—or lack of. She is a resident scholar at Brandeis University Women’s Studies Research Center, holds a doctorate from Harvard, and is a frequent speaker on family dynamics. "Great presentation! Louise Andrews, Holistic Health Counselor, will teach you about wholesome foods and their role in weight loss and wellbeing. Samples provided! Her sister, Lisa Klasman, a naturopathic doctor, will address easing menopause/perimenopausal symptoms naturally. We will also have yoga teacher Helen Theodosiou leading us in a few simple yoga stretches to ease midlife issues! NEW for couples: Bring your spouse to this talk on Dec. 9, 7-9 pm, when Jan Bergstrom, LMHC, helps us understand the importance of self-esteem and boundaries in communication in the changing empty(ing) nest environment. $37/couple, limited to 7 couples.
